Alex is a Director of User Experience and an Enterprise Design Thinking Coach at IBM iX and Consulting, specializing in Service and Product design. He tackles intricate strategy, experience, and product design challenges while collaborating with research and engineering teams to create user-centric solutions. Throughout his tenure, Alex has played a pivotal role in creating net-new products through diverse team ideation as well as reimagining and implementing outstanding business and consumer experiences for global enterprises across various industries.

With over a decade of product design experience and a foundation in organizational psychology and visual design, Alex brings a unique perspective and expertise in service design, cx optimization, user-centered AI solutions, end-to-end product development, and people development and mentorship. He has led cross-functional teams across sectors such as retail, finance, media, healthcare, and communications, achieving impactful outcomes that create happy users and stakeholders. As an Enterprise Design Thinking coach, he is dedicated to fostering human-centered design and delivering seamless user experiences through strategic collaboration and design thinking principles.

When he’s not solving problems at his day job, you can find him hiking a mountain, learning a new song on guitar, cooking a lovely new dish but telling everyone it’s not his best, or painting his next watercolor.
